Fraud Warning & Official Communication Notice
Terziolu & Partners urges its clients, business partners and the public to be vigilant against fraudulent communications, impersonation, scam attempts and unauthorised payment requests that may be made using the firm's name, logo, domain, email signature or the names of its people.
Law firms, lawyers and professional advisory practices are, from time to time, impersonated by bad actors who reach individuals through fake email addresses, look-alike domains, messaging apps, social-media accounts or forged documents.
Such attempts are in no way connected with Terziolu & Partners.
Our official domain
The official website of Terziolu & Partners is www.terziolupartners.com. If any website, email address or document associated with the firm does not match this domain, it should be treated with caution.
There may be a risk of fraud in particular where:
- an email is sent in the name of Terziolu & Partners from a different or similar-looking domain;
- the email address contains altered letters, extra characters, hyphens, numbers or a different extension;
- a personal bank account is given for payment;
- an unusually urgent money transfer is requested;
- fees, charges, taxes, deposits or costs are demanded without a formal contract or written confirmation;
- an unauthorised payment instruction is given via WhatsApp, Telegram, social media or other channels;
- a person claiming to be an employee of the firm avoids verifying their identity;
- a guarantee is given regarding a legal service, visa, citizenship, investment, property, case outcome or official procedure;
- documents said to be sent on behalf of Terziolu & Partners contain spelling errors, a low-quality logo or inconsistent information.
Official email communication
Corporate emails from Terziolu & Partners are, as a rule, sent from addresses on the @terziolupartners.com domain. Messages from any other domain that claim to act on behalf of the firm should be examined carefully.
If you are not sure whether an email is genuine, do not click the links it contains, do not open its attachments and do not make any payment. Addresses of the following kind, for example, may be suspicious:
- addresses sent from free email services;
- addresses very similar to, but not identical with, our domain;
- addresses containing different country extensions or extra characters;
- addresses that imitate the name of our people but do not use our official domain.
Payments and bank details
When requesting payment, Terziolu & Partners uses written, verifiable and official channels of communication. Do not transfer money in response to any payment request said to come from the firm without verifying that it is genuine.
In any payment request said to be made on the firm's behalf, the following should receive particular attention:
- the account details for payment should be confirmed in writing;
- the identity of the account holder should be checked;
- a request to pay into a personal account should be treated as suspicious;
- payment requests carrying unusual urgency should be verified;
- if a change in bank details is claimed, that information should be separately confirmed;
- bank details added later in an email chain should be examined carefully.
No guarantees in legal services
Terziolu & Partners does not guarantee a particular outcome in any case, application, citizenship, residence, investment, property, company formation, debt-recovery, enforcement, arbitration or official matter. The outcome of legal processes depends on the specific facts, the evidence, the parties, the applicable law, the competent authorities, the courts, the administrative bodies and conditions that may change over time.
Any person claiming to act on the firm's behalf should be treated with caution if they do any of the following, since such promises are inconsistent with the working principles of Terziolu & Partners:
- guarantees that a case will certainly be won;
- guarantees a citizenship or residence outcome;
- claims that a result will be obtained through special relationships with official authorities;
- promises a certain result in exchange for payment;
- claims it can speed up a legal process in an unusual way.

If you come across websites, email addresses, social-media accounts or documents that imitate the firm's brand identity, domain or professional appearance, please contact us.
Terziolu & Partners reserves all necessary legal and reporting rights against brand and identity impersonation, fraud, unauthorised representation, the creation of forged documents and similar acts.
No unauthorised representation
Persons acting on behalf of Terziolu & Partners may communicate with clients or third parties only if they have been expressly authorised by the firm. Limitation of liability
Terziolu & Partners is not responsible for fraudulent communications, unauthorised payment requests, impersonation attempts, look-alike domains, fake social-media accounts or fraudulent activity carried out by third parties outside the firm's knowledge, permission or control.
It is important that individuals check the authenticity of messages they receive and obtain confirmation through official channels before making any payment.
